Quinton Jackson    Bellator    Heavyweight
Jackson lost to Chael Sonnen via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at Bellator 192 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.

Fantasy Analysis

At this point of his career, "Rampage" spends a lot of time complaining about having to fight wrestlers. He has never had the best takedown defense, but now he struggles to stay on his feet or off the cage. This was the case once again against Sonnen. "Rampage" tried to keep the fight on the feet and strike, but he could not do it. Sonnen took this fight to the ground in each round and did enough from the top to keep the fight on the ground. Jackson has now been eliminated from the Bellator heavyweight tournament. He has also lost back-to-back fights, and he has failed to finish a fight since 2014.
Chael Sonnen    Bellator    Light Heavyweight
Sonnen defeated Quinton "Rampage" Jackson via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at Bellator 192 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.

Fantasy Analysis

Sonnen's career appeared to be possibly over after fell to Tito Ortiz in the first round of his Bellator debut. However, since that night, he has bounced back with a pair of decision victories over MMA legends. In this fight, he took a one-sided decision over former UFC champion "Rampage." Sonnen has gone back to his roots and relied on his wrestling. He scored takedowns in each round. He did not do very much damage from the top, but it was enough to take the decision. Jackson is well past him prime at this point and fighting at heavyweight is not making things any easier for him. Sonnen will move on in the Bellator heavyweight tournament and face the winner of the bout between former UFC champion Frank Mir and former Pride FC champion Fedor Emelianenko.
Douglas Lima    Bellator    Welterweight
Lima lost to Rory MacDonald via unanimous decision (48-47, 49-45, 49-46) at Bellator 192 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.

Fantasy Analysis

Lima has always struggled against fighters who want to take him down. With his victory over Andrey Korshkov at Bellator 164, it appeared as if he might have cleared this hurdle. However, MacDonald proved tonight that wrestling is still the key to defeating Lima. In almost all the rounds, MacDonald controlled the pace and dominated the fight with his grappling and ground and pound. In the third round, Lima hurt the Canadian with a series of devastating leg kicks. However, it was not enough to turn the tide of the fight. Lima has fought his way back to the title once before, and now he will need to do it again.
Rory MacDonald    Bellator    Welterweight
MacDonald defeated Douglas Lima via unanimous decision (48-47, 49-45, 49-46) at Bellator 192 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.

Fantasy Analysis

Like most MacDonald fights, this turned out to be a damage filled war. MacDonald did his best work when he was able to land takedowns and do work from the top. He started the fight with this strategy and won the first two rounds. In the third round, Lima landed a hard leg kick below the knee. MacDonald was clearly injured by the blow and struggled to finish the round. This allowed Lima to have some great moments, but MacDonald continue to push forward and impose his will with his grappling. At the end of the day, the UFC veteran took the decision and the welterweight title on the scorecards. In only his second Bellator fight, MacDonald won the promotion's title over one of the toughest fighters outside of the UFC. With a win over current UFC champion Tyron Woodley some could make the case that he is the best welterweight in the world.
Goiti Yamauchi    Bellator    Lightweight
Yamauchi lost to Michael Chandler via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at Bellator 192 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.

Fantasy Analysis

Since moving back up to lightweight, Yamauchi had won three-straight fights and earned himself contender status in the division. However, his climb hit the ceiling against Chandler. Yamauchi showed that he has the talent to compete at this level and even hurt his opponent with a head kick. However, Chandler was able to control this fight with his wrestling and top game. Yamauchi has made strides and improved during his time in Bellator. That progression will likely continue since he is still only 25 years old.
Michael Chandler    Bellator    Lightweight
Chandler defeated Goiti Yamauchi via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-25) at Bellator 192 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.

Fantasy Analysis

As the scorecards suggest, Chandler dominated this fight. Yamauchi had his moments in this fight, including a beautiful head kick, but the former University of Missouri wrestler was in control throughout this fight. He scored takedowns nearly at will and landed ground and pound from the top. This was the former champion's first fight back after losing the Bellator lightweight title to Brent Primus on an injury stoppage. The promotion will likely remake the fight with Primus. The current champion has not fought since taking the belt from Chandler.
