Match Preview:

India will look to continue their winning run in Test cricket when they take on Bangladesh in the first game of the two-match series in Indore. The series is a part of the ICC World Test Championship that India lead currently with five wins across two series against West Indies and South Africa.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, have never defeated India in a Test match, and will hope to get their first win against them in their 10th attempt. They are yet to start their Test Championship, and will be low on confidence after losing their most recent five-day game against Afghanistan. The absence of Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal further make them outsiders for the match.

Weather Conditions:

It will be a perfect week for cricket, with temperatures in the mid 20s and no chance of rain.  

Pitch Conditions: 

The Holkar Stadium is a batting haven, with plenty of runs are on offer. The track has a consistent bounce and the short boundaries allows big-hitters to go for their shots as well. If India bat first, they would be looking at a score of anything above 450 to out-bat Bangladesh from the game.
