The Brothers have been unable to find consistency and have dropped two of their last three games, leaving them in last place in the second-half standings. However, they'll have a chance to right their collective ship Friday with the help of De Paula, who is their staff ace and of the CPBL's best pitchers. On the other side, Melville doesn't have a bad ERA by any means, but he could certainly tighten up his control, as he's walked six batters in over his first 15.2 innings, leading to a 1.40 WHIP. The Lions do arrive at this matchup in good shape, as they're in first place in the second-half standings and have won two straight games.
