Heading to Tucson
Not Injury Related
January 30, 2021
McCloud announced Saturday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Arizona, joining the program as a transfer from South Florida.
ANALYSIS
On the heels of the Bulls' 1-8 season, McCloud was one of several prominent players to leave the program. Though he saw starts in both of his years with South Florida, McCloud struggled to move the offense, completing a pedestrian 58.4 percent of his throws for 2,770 yards and a 21:10 TD:INT. He'll take three years of eligibility with him to a crowded Arizona quarterback room, but he'll likely need a waiver from the NCAA in order to compete immediately in 2021.
