SLATE OVERVIEW
Eastern Michigan at Ball State
(-8.5) O/U: 59.5
Central Michigan at Northern Illinois
(+7.5) O/U: 58
Toledo at Western Michigan (-2.5) O/U: 59.5
All three of these games have respectable O/U numbers, and due to the small slate size, we won't be fading any matchups here. The best game for the money falls to the EMU/BSU matchup, and I'm endorsing a lot of targets from this contest today.
QUARTERBACK
We've got Eli Peters (DK $8,100, FD $10,500) at the top on both sites, and if you're MME'ing this slate, you'll have some shares in the Toledo signal-caller. However, I'm banking on Toledo to get more done on the ground against a Western Michigan team that they pummeled into submission with 275 rushing yards last year. When you add that the Broncos gave up 130 rushing yards to lowly Akron last week, it further accentuates where Toledo's offensive focus will lie.
Drew Plitt, Ball State (DK $7,800, FD $9,600 vs. Eastern Michigan
For the money, I think Plitt is the best bet at QB on Wednesday, as the three-headed monster of Plitt, Caleb Huntley and Justin Hall were as good as advertised in their first game against Miami. While they lost in a 38-31 shootout, it wasn't the offense that was at fault - they simply couldn't defend the pass. That's why I view this
