November 1, 2019
Bey scored 20 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-11 FT) and added four rebounds, four assists and five steals in Thursday's 87-63 win over Western Washington.
ANALYSIS
Bey received somewhat sporadic minutes a season ago, but with a plethora of Huskies exhausting their eligibility he figures to play a more prominent role this season. His team-high 20 points, which included hitting three of his five three-point attempts, is certainly a positive sign for Washington as they try to replace the offensive production of Jaylen Nowell, Noah Dickerson and David Crisp. The sophomore's five steals is also a welcomed sight, with defensive pest Matisse Thybulle also lost to the NBA. Washington opens its regular season against Baylor next Friday.
