Two goals in loss to Geelong
MHawthorn Hawks
April 5, 2021
Breust recorded 17 disposals, five tackles, three marks and a pair of majors Monday as Hawthorn fell to Geelong 69-65 at MCG.
Bruest matched Mitch Lewis with a team-high two scores and finished second only to Ben McEvoy and Liam Shields in total tackles versus Geelong. The 30 year-old forward subsequently exited the match one of nine Hawks' players to top 80+ fantasy points in the loss, but currently averaging just 68 points an outing this season, tied for 60th-best in the AFL amongst all players at his position.

Gets two-year extension
MHawthorn Hawks
February 11, 2021
Breust signed a two-year contract extension with Hawthorn on Thursday.
Breust appeared in 13 games with the Hawks in 2020, averaging 1.2 goals, 4.9 handballs and 4.0 tackles per game. The team saw enough of his skills to lock him up for the foreseeable future.
Scores two goals in loss

September 6, 2020
Breust scored two majors and logged two behinds while also making four tackles during Saturday's 80-66 loss to Saint Kilda.
Breust did help with a late score during the comeback attempt, but otherwise wasn't clinical enough to make the difference. It doesn't seem likely his production will go any higher than this over the final two matches of the season.
Kicks two majors in loss
MHawthorn Hawks
August 11, 2020
Breust ended with 12 disposals (four kicks, eight handballs), five tackles, three marks and two goals in Monday's 48-32 loss to the Dockers.
Breust was the only multiple goal scorer for the Hawks on what was a dismal night for the team. This form was reminiscent of their early-season struggles and now has them in danger of not making the finals. Breust has been a relatively consistent performance for the Hawks, although his fantasy output is certainly far from spectacular.

July 28, 2020
Breust (jaw) will be available for Friday's match versus Carlton.
Breust had been sidelined for a month after suffering a fracture in late June. He slotted in as a half forward in his last game back on June 28 versus North Melbourne, producing a goal, 11 disposals, seven tackles and two marks.
Sidelined for a month

June 30, 2020
Breust will miss the next month as he recovers from jaw surgery.
Breust managed to play out the remainder of Sunday's contest despite the injury, but a scan following the contest revealed a minor fracture that required a procedure. His current timeline pegs him for a return in either late July or early August.
