Boots four goals in easy victory
DFremantle Dockers
September 12, 2020
Hogan finished with six disposals (five kicks, one handball), four marks, four goals and one tackle in Saturday's 99-35 victory over the Kangaroos.
Hogan not only kicked his first goal of the season in the victory, but he also made the most of the flimsy defense with four majors. It has been a rough season for Hogan who has managed just six games thus far. After missing almost 12 months with a foot injury, Hogan recently battled a calf issue before stringing together three games on the trot.
Labeled emergency

August 14, 2020
Hogan (calf) is among the emergencies for Saturday's clash with Carlton.
Hogan is expected to serve on defense when he retakes the field for the Dockers, but it appears that won't be immediate, barring a late change. Regardless, his inclusion as an emergency likely indicates that Hogan's previous calf issue is no longer part of the equation.
Set to return as defender

August 13, 2020
Hogan (calf) is slated to rejoin the lineup and will play back as a defender, Ashley Browne of SEN 1116 reports.
Hogan has been sidelined since Round 5 but is expected to make the transition to the back lines moving forward. That may cripple his fantasy value in the short term if he's listed as a forward, but Hogan could hold some value in the future.
Facing 2-to-3-week absence
DFremantle Dockers
July 13, 2020
Fremantle expects Hogan to miss 2-to-3 more weeks while he nurses a calf strain.
Hogan apparently tested well after having his calf evaluated Monday, but the Dockers are still planning on holding him out for their Round 7 match versus West Coast and their Round 8 match versus Geelong before bringing him back into the lineup. The midfielder hasn't played since July 5 due to the injury.
Doubtful Saturday

Hogan is "likely to miss" Saturday's match against St. Kilda due to a calf strain, according to General Manager of Football Peter Bell. He could miss two-to-three weeks as a result of the injury.
Hogan played out the last match against Adelaide despite suffering the strain early in the match, and it was later revealed that the injury is more serious than it originally felt. He's provided two assists from his three matches but has yet to score.
