Taken off on stretcher in GF
DRichmond Tigers
October 24, 2020
Vlastuin left the field on a stretcher after getting knocked out by a straw elbow during Saturday's Grand Final win over Geelong, according to Callum Twomey of the league's official website.
Vlastuin was unlucky to take the blow inadvertently from Patrick Dangerfield as his night was ended six minutes into the match. He'll need a few weeks to recover but he can do so happily after the Tigers secured a second consecutive flag.
Decent in win

Vlastuin collected 17 disposals (11 kicks, six handballs) and made eight marks during Wednesday's 56-29 win over Freemantle.
Vlastuin had a bigger share of the spotlight in this match with his team struggling to find any kind of offensive rhythm outside of Thomas Lynch. As the season nears its finish, Vlastuin should continue to be a reliable player through consistent production.

Vlastuin (calf) will rejoin the lineup for Tuesday's clash with the Lions.
Vlastuin's calf tightened up last week and forced him out of last Wednesday's match, but it appears it's loosened up and he will avoid missing beyond one game. Vlastuin is listed as a starting half back for the contest.

Vlastuin will sit out Wednesday's match versus Western due to some calf tightness, Grace Kalac of the Tigers' official site reports.
Vlastuin underwent scans on the issue and it revealed nothing overly serious, so there's a good chance he will return to Richmond's back lines in short order. His next chance to do so arrives next Tuesday versus Brisbane.
