Kane Lambert
In lineup Friday
MRichmond Tigers
March 4, 2021
Lambert (hip) is in the lineup for Friday's Community Series contest versus Collingwood.
ANALYSIS
Lambert was recovering from offseason hip surgery but appears to be in good shape well ahead of the regular season. He figures to be a solid piece in the Tigers' midfield again this season after averaging 15.6 disposals, 3.4 tackles and 3.1 marks per game in 2020.

Will play Friday despite suspension
RRichmond Tigers
Suspension
March 4, 2021
Coleman-Jones is suspended for the first four games of the 2021 regular season but will play in Friday's Community Series game versus Collingwood, the AFL's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Coleman-Jones will get a chance to see some action Friday with the looming four-game suspension set to get him behind others on knocking off some of the rust early in the campaign. He should be available during the regular season come Round 5.
Daniel Rioli
Has ankle injury
FRichmond Tigers
Ankle
March 3, 2021
Rioli is questionable for Friday's practice match against Collingwood due to an ankle injury picked up last week, according to Callum Twomey of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Rioli is worth monitoring as the regular season nears and may be held out of this preseason match as a precaution. He scored 12 goals from 18 matches in 2020.
Kane Lambert
Recovering from hip surgery
MRichmond Tigers
Hip
March 3, 2021
Lambert is still in the recovery process from offseason hip surgery and his status hasn't been confirmed for Friday's preseason match against Collingwood or for the beginning of the regular season, according to Callum Twomey of the AFL's official website.
ANALYSIS
Lambert has a better shot of playing in the season opener Mar. 18 but there's more to figure out before he's given the all-clear. He only topped 20 disposals in three of his 20 appearances last season.
Nick Vlastuin
Appears in practice match
DRichmond Tigers
March 3, 2021
Vlastuin appeared in the practice match against Melbourne as the preseason began.
ANALYSIS
Vlastuin finished last season on a stretcher but should have no issues being ready for Friday's practice match against Collingwood or for the regular season.
Bachar Houli
Still hurt
DRichmond Tigers
Calf
March 3, 2021
Houli (calf) has little chance of appearing in the Mar. 18 season-opener against Carlton, according to Callum Twomey of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Houli picked up this injury in last season's Grand Final victory and still remains unfit. While his status for the first match of the 2021 campaign hasn't been assured, his availability seems unlikely at this point in his recovery.
Dion Prestia
Not fully fit
MRichmond Tigers
Hamstring
March 3, 2021
Prestia is in the midst of recovering from a hamstring injury and his status isn't guaranteed for the season opener against Carlton on Mar. 18, according to Callum Twomey of the AFL's official website.
ANALYSIS
Prestia has little to no chance of appearing in Friday's preseason match against Collingwood and still needs more time to get into shape before the season begins. He was out between July and October with an ankle injury last season and injuries are worth monitoring for Prestia even after he helped the Tigers to a Premiership title in 2020.
Dion Prestia
Scores two in GF win
MRichmond Tigers
October 24, 2020
Prestia scored two goals to go with 14 disposals (seven kicks, seven handballs) and made five tackles during Saturday's 81-50 Grand Final win over Geelong.
ANALYSIS
Prestia ended the season in style after playing in every match in October. He dealt with an ankle injury throughout the summer that kept him out from July through September and will feel great to contribute to a second straight premiership win for the Tigers. Prestia will be one to watch if he can stay healthy next year.
Jack Riewoldt
Finishes title with two goals
FRichmond Tigers
October 24, 2020
Riewoldt scored two goals and two behinds in addition to making three marks during Saturday's 81-50 Grand Final win over Geelong.
ANALYSIS
Riewoldt began the scoring in the second half then sealed the deal with the final points of the premiership victory. Though never one to top the fantasy scoring charts, Riewoldt remains one of the better forwards around and scored majors in all but three matches this season. He'll now celebrate a second consecutive win of the flag to finish off an excellent end to the season for the Tigers.
Dustin Martin
Scores four in win
FRichmond Tigers
October 24, 2020
Martin scored four goals and collected 21 disposals (16 kicks, five handballs) during Saturday's 81-50 Grand Final win over Geelong.
ANALYSIS
Martin was once again the standout performer during the biggest match of the season by dragging his club back into the match then widening the league with a goal from a tight angle in the final period. The captain dominated the finals with seven goals and 67 disposals from three matches to help the Tigers secure a second straight flag and three of the last four premiership titles. He'll now have the offseason to celebrate his increasing place in the history books.
Jayden Short
Logs 25 disposals in GF win
DRichmond Tigers
October 24, 2020
Short collected 25 disposals (18 kicks, seven handballs) and made six tackles during Saturday's 81-50 Grand Final win over Geelong.
ANALYSIS
Short saved his best performance of the season for the most important match with a massive all-around performance. Though not always the most consistent player, Short was still one of the most reliable defenders for fantasy during the Tigers run to a second consecutive flag.
Bachar Houli
Injures calf in Grand FInal
DRichmond Tigers
Calf
October 24, 2020
Houli injured his calf during Saturday's 81-50 win over Geelong in the Grand Final, according to Callum Twomey of the league's official website.
ANALYSIS
Houli dealt with injuries at various points throughout the season before some more consistent performances down the stretch. He'l now focus on getting healthy for next season after winning the premiership.
Nick Vlastuin
Taken off on stretcher in GF
DRichmond Tigers
Concussion
October 24, 2020
Vlastuin left the field on a stretcher after getting knocked out by a straw elbow during Saturday's Grand Final win over Geelong, according to Callum Twomey of the league's official website.
ANALYSIS
Vlastuin was unlucky to take the blow inadvertently from Patrick Dangerfield as his night was ended six minutes into the match. He'll need a few weeks to recover but he can do so happily after the Tigers secured a second consecutive flag.
Kane Lambert
Kicks two goals in win
MRichmond Tigers
October 17, 2020
Lambert scored two goals and logged one behind to go with 13 disposals (eight kicks, five handballs) and six tackles in Friday's 46-40 win over Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Lambert played a key role with his goals during a tough contest to advance to the Grand Final. He'll need to work hard to be worth selection, as he's seldom productive enough with the footy to regularly put up big numbers.
Dustin Martin
Stars in prelim final win
FRichmond Tigers
October 17, 2020
Martin scored two goals and collected 21 disposals (12 kicks, nine handballs) during Friday's 46-40 win over Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Martin lead the charge for a second straight match to help the Tigers topple the top team in the Premiership. With 46 disposals and three goals in the finals, Martin is a man on a mission. He'll take on Geelong in the Grand Final.
Toby Nankervis
Huge in win
RRichmond Tigers
October 17, 2020
Nankervis made 10 tackles and completed 19 hitouts to go with 13 disposals (10 kicks, three handballs) during Friday's 46-40 win over Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Nankervis had his biggest match of the season in a crucial moment to help his club advance to the Grand Final. With a season high in tackles, Nankervis was able to make up the difference from his inconsistent numbers elsewhere on the pitch. After a performance like this, he could be one to watch in the final contest of the season.
Dustin Martin
Dominates in semi-final victory Friday
FRichmond Tigers
October 10, 2020
Martin totaled 25 disposals (16 kicks, nine handballs), one mark, one tackle and one goal in Friday's 80-49 victory over St. Kilda.
ANALYSIS
Martin continues to prove why he is such a key piece for the Tigers, having his way with the Saints' defenders. He compiled a game-high 10 inside-50s, forcing the coaching staff to move him back to the midfield after starting up forward to begin the game. The Tigers will now face the Power next Friday with the winner moving through to the Grand Final. Martin is certainly no stranger to this time of year and will be looking to turn in yet another dominant performance.
Bachar Houli
Tops disposal count Friday
DRichmond Tigers
October 10, 2020
Houli ended with 32 disposals (16 kicks, 16 handballs), five marks and two tackles in Friday's 80-49 semi-final victory over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Houli was arguably the Tigers best on Friday, controlling the midfield in what was a reasonably comfortable victory. His ability to hit the open man was on full display and his form of late certainly bodes well for the Tigers who are now looking to play in their third grand final in the last four years.
Shai Bolton
Star performance in win
MRichmond Tigers
October 10, 2020
Bolton finished with 11 disposals (eight kicks, three handballs), three goals, two marks and one tackle in Friday's 80-49 victory over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Bolton bounced back after a poor performance only seven days earlier, booting three first-half goals as the Tigers booked a place in yet another Grand Final qualifier. He weaved his magic as the Tigers built an early lead and despite a quiet second half, Bolton remained instrumental in the victory.
Thomas Lynch
Set to return Friday
FRichmond Tigers
October 7, 2020
Lynch (hamstring) will take part in Friday's semi-final versus St. Kilda on Friday, Peter Ryan of The Age reports.
ANALYSIS
Lynch's return should provide a major boost up front, as he enters the contest averaging 1.8 goals per game over 16 contests. Unfortunately, his fantasy prospects remain lower due to his lacking stats in other categories, namely his just 8.6 disposals per contest.
Josh Caddy
Available for selection
FRichmond Tigers
October 7, 2020
Caddy (knee) is available for selection this week after taking part in a scratch match over the weekend, Peter Ryan of The Age reports.
ANALYSIS
Caddy could be a solid inclusion for the Tigers, though he failed to score a goal in any but the last game he participated in Sept. 19. He isn't guaranteed to be included Friday but will raise his hand and should be in the mix for a look after a tough loss to Brisbane in the qualifying final.
Daniel Rioli
Scores two goals in loss
FRichmond Tigers
October 2, 2020
Rioli scored two goals and logged 10 disposals (six kicks, four handballs) in addition to making four marks during Friday's 69-45 loss to Brisbane.
ANALYSIS
Rioli isn't the kind of forward to completely control a match but he was still able to bring his good form into the postseason. While the rest of his team struggled in this loss, Rioli added two more majors to his record, which includes kicking goals in four of the last five Rounds of the regular season.
Trent Cotchin
Kicks first goal of year
MRichmond Tigers
October 2, 2020
Cotchin scored one goal to go with 18 disposals (15 kicks, three handballs) and made seven clearances during Friday's 69-54 loss to Brisbane.
ANALYSIS
Cotchin's lack of goals hasn't been nearly as detrimental as his lack of touches late in the season. Over the last six Rounds including the finals, Cotchin has topped 20 disposals on a single occasion. The Tigers will need more out of Cotchin in the next round against St. Kilda or Western Bulldogs, but it's hard to expect much out of him with this recent record.
Jayden Short
Logs 22 disposals in loss
DRichmond Tigers
October 2, 2020
Short collected 22 disposals (15 kicks, seven handballs) and made four marks during Friday's 69-54 loss to Brisbane.
ANALYSIS
Short managed the most disposals of any player on his team as they struggled to build a rhythm throughout the contest. After July 12., Short collected no more than 23 disposals in a single match and has stayed mostly level with his production. This should help keep expectation of Short the same heading into the next round against St. Kilda or Western Bulldogs.
